Hi, beauties? I love Sunday for DIYs, I feel it as a funnier day than the rest days, do you?
I woke up and my first thought it was that I am not perfect, but my skin should be. So it’s time for a DIY scrub. I have checked my kitchen and I saw many strawberries. I am growing organic strawberries in my garden because I love I them since I was a little girl. This year I had more strawberries than the previous. When I was a child I was worried why strawberry is the only fruit that has the seeds from the outside (hahaha)…
Strawberry is well known as the Queen of Fruits. It nourishes and revitalizes skin. Those little red queens are high in anti-inflammatory properties and rich in vitamin C. This means it fights off free radical and helps collagen to stay healthy. High in Folic Acid and Dietary Fibre, strawberries can produce new cells and eliminate harmful toxins, reduce pimples and acne. This sexy fruit is well known for its acidic, that not only removes excess oil in the skin and the excess sebum from it but also it acts as an amazing skin lightening that helps reduce dark spots and acne scars. They contain anti-oxidant ellagic acid, which prevents collagen destruction, which means fewer wrinkles. It works against UV damage! It improves skin’s complexion and treats puffy eyes easily.
An ideal way to use strawberries for your skin: A fun scrub to make!
A blender (low power)
1/2 cup strawberries (preferred – froze them at least for 5-8 hours)
1/2 cup Epsom salts
1/2 cup coconut sugar
1/8 cup coconut oil (preferred solid)
Add the strawberries in a blender in low power until they will be like pure. Add the coconut oil. When strawberries and coconut are well combined, add the Epsom salts and sugar for 10-20 seconds more. Put your scrub in a jar and store it in dry cool place or even better in the fridge.
